Building Relationships

Midstate Construction, Basin Street Properties and Berger, Detmer, Ennis were recently awarded a Best of California 2007 award for Theatre Square Apartments in Petaluma. The two building, 128,500 square foot three story development features 56 units of multi-family housing, ground floor retail and class A office space. The retail areas which line the ground floor hold a variety of shops, Tres Hombres Restaurant and Jennie Low's Restaurant, recently completed by Midstate.

Located in the heart of downtown Petaluma, Theatre Square is the anchor building for Basin Street's Petaluma downtown urban renovation. The urban infill project consisted of a historical building renovation and five new building construction projects. Midstate constructed three of the five new buildings; Theatre Square, Waterfront Apartments and the Petaluma Town Center Parking Garage.

The European styled, modern efficient housing and floor plans provide high-end housing for young professionals, in a downtown area similar to the highly successful downtown revivals of other north bay cities.

The central courtyard fountain features mosaic tile work created and donated by the people of Petaluma; providing a resting and social gathering place.

Adequate parking for the varied development venues: office, residential and retail, is provided by the adjacent Petaluma Town Center Parking Garage, completed by Midstate in 2005.
