Midstate Construction and Aldersly
Garden Retirement Community recently completed construction
on the Aldersly Assisted Living Facility in San Rafael.
The Rosenborg Building, a 24,534 square foot, two
story community provides 30 residential units and
parking for the elderly and individuals with special
housing needs.

Located close to downtown San Rafael,
the Aldersly Garden Retirement Community provides
an efficient utilization of real estate providing
quality housing for residents. The interior of the
new building is spacious and upscale, featuring high
ceilings and large windows that provide a beautiful
view. Each living unit is fully contained with integrated
facilities and kitchenette. Fully furnished community
lounge areas are located on each floor enhanced by
warm, soothing lighting to further promote the social
aspects of assisted living. Of notable design are
the hallways which incorporate hidden integration
of handrails; coupled with the baseboard which gives
the effect of wainscoting that runs the length of
the hall. Parking is limited in the neighborhood so
a parking structure was integrated into the ground
floor of the building to accommodate the additional
independent residents who drive.
